Golden yellow color with a huge nose. A nose that is extremly pure and seductive. The purity comes from the minerals that is mixed with a honey pear and slight touch of butter. This is why I love the Riesling grape. In the mouth the wine is still young and it is not so full-bodied yet. But everything will be in place in 2-3 years time. (94+)

2001;Albert Boxler Riesling Sommerberg L31E;Alsace;France

Light yellow color with a oliy nose that has - honey melon and a stoned mineral note. Not so sharp as one could hope for and it has a slightly touch of something that reminds me of mint. The oily structure of the wine still has the upper hand and gives the wine a plesant taste overall. (90)

2001;Beaucastel CdP Chateauneuf du Pape;Rhône;France

I was alone in praising Beaucastel. Everyone had their eyes on the seductive Lynch Bages. But Beaucastel is going to be a classic. The most elegant and refined Beaucast and a where complex nose. The taste is very elegant and the wine is so pure. (93) for now. but I think it will be a (96) in 4 years time.

Classic Bordeaux nose with cherry and chocolate. The wine is VEY open and has no rougness with smooth tannins. It's drinkring great now and will last 10 years more...but I would not cellar it longer. (93)

Very elegant nose with apples lemon flowers and butter. The taste is like the nose elegant
but a little bit short and I hoped for more fatness on the finish. Still a very nice wine and a wine that workes great with food. (89+)

Not blind. Very dark colour and a compact nose with a certain amount of fresh herbs mixed with tobacco. After one hour in the glass some sweetnes emerged together with chocolate and licorice. But the "green" element from the Cabernet was still there....I maybe because the wine has such a mixed picture on the bouquet. The taste is powerful and very long with great fruit. (93)

What a nose!! What is this stuff?..had a realy hard time to locate the grape and country And I have tasted Ai Suma 1997 4 times .. Before I get into details I am pretty sure that the Ai Suma 97 I bought on the release is in great shape. The additional Ai Suma I bought Oct-2003 from the same Danish retailer has been expose to something that....(sorry text missing from the original TN- gave it 94 pts
