2000 Petrolo, Galatrona, Tuscany, Italy

Violet colour. Iron, blueberries – the wine is hot-tempered and cold at the same time with massive deep core fruit in combo with lava of packed stone/iron minerals. As the wine hits the palate it’s almost an explosion with arrogant fruit surplus, with Italian warmth and style. Man – I like Tuscan Merlot. (95)
