2001 Elio Altare, Barolo Arborina, Piemonte, Italy

A young wine and hardly approachable at this stage – the nose had a sedative plum note that took balance from the floral components. Taste was better and underlined the potential of the wine. Don’t touch it for many years. (90-94?)
