1999 Tua Rita "Giusto di Notri", Tuscany, Italy

This is the third time I try this wine and it's so good. No doubt that this is one of the best Cab/Merlot wines from Tuscany. For starters it has a very dark purple color and the nose is with chocolate, cofee and this perfect blend of glycerin and pure fruit...this is good stuff. The finish is perfect and powerful. (96+)

1999 Tua Rita Giusto di Notri, Tuscany, Italy

The baby fat has vanished since I last taste this wine. I remember it as having a lot of glycerine and rich fruit, but it’s now a wine that contains dark berries, balsamic, dark bitter chocolate, cappuccino, burned elements and smoke. On the palate it lands with a good firm structure, then stops and the returns with balsamic doses on the back palate. This wine will cellar for many years. (94++)

Glass: Riedel Sommelier Bordeaux Grand Cru Brief TN from a dinner with friends.
