It’s hard not to like this wine, but it’s even harder to blind guess at it.. A dessert wine from Sicily. yeah right. Its caramel, apricot, brow sugar and full throttle on all counts. The components are for such a warm region as Sicily road to sugar monster hell, but this wine has so much freshness and acidity that it’s no way near to happen. After my guest had left I had the last few drops of it. Now at room temperature and still it’s not heavy (lots of stickly sugar – hell yes), but very nice. (95)
