1999 Poggio Antico, Altero, Tuscany, Italy

At first this wine seemed a bit easy with too much blackcurrant. But it gained weight and evolved deep lush berries, cherry and liquorice. Taste has the same depth with those lush berries, but it gets a dusty windblown, which restrains it to unfold completely. (91)
